here is the place I am going
wandering safe on my shoes and
the particle age of my wondering
ears and light.

nobody knows just where it's going
and why should I hear what's just beginning
through conscience I'll feel just what I'm singing
in my mind.

but gypsy we've got to be here,
just you and I,
to sing just right.
and mock all transcendent sullied eyes.

I am the scent upon the highway
the choice of the path
beneath your feet and understand the beats
in the rhythm in the night.

I am the leaves in your hair and the
overture sea of your wonder
one wandering east,
